I need a way to show my team the exact steps for our new software setup without recording a long video. Videos are a pain to edit and they take up way too much space. Plus, if a single setting changes, the whole recording becomes basically useless.
I've been looking for an interactive product demo tool and found Supademo. It seems to turn screen captures into click-through guides automatically, which looks much better than sending a bunch of screenshots over Slack.
My main concern is the data safety part. I saw on their site that they are SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant, but I'm still careful when it comes to sharing internal workflows. Does anyone here have experience with these types of tools? I want to know if they are actually safe for tech documentation or if there are better ways to handle this.
