Would someone please tell how to delete my old discussions that are from over a year ago and still in my notifications, I am sure there is a simple way to do this but I am at a loss to find the answer.
Thank you
Old posts created by a user can only be deleted by the administrator and moderators of the Bitdefender Community Forum. In some cases, even moderators may not have the ability to remove certain posts, as deletion rights are restricted to administrator only.
The user who created the original post is permitted to delete only their own recent posts, and this option is available for a limited period. Once this time period has elapsed, the standard moderation process applies as described above.

Thank you now I know, much appreciated
Hi,
For a bit more context here, authors may edit their posts for 1 day. After this timeframe, their posts can still be removed, if necessary, by a user that is in a role that has permission to edit or delete content. The deletion of posts is reserved to moderators and admins only, and the purpose behind this rule is not to disrupt the discussion flow. To give you an example, if a member opens a thread, then deletes their comments after a while, then the coherence and overall structure of the discussion will be affected, in the sense that missing comments from a discussion that has already gathered a number of comments from multiple forum members joining the conversation, would alter its natural flow and implicitly it will be difficult for readers to understand what was actually discussed in that thread, if the order of the comments is not kept intact.
