I recently created a simple batch file but Bitdefender deletes the .BAT file everytime, including even the .txt file I used to created the batch file from. I rename the folder the .BAT file sits in on my C drive, I rename the file, all makes no difference, in a short time Bitdefender empties that directory. It makes no sense it does this, I made the file, typed out the contents so no copy paste from somewhere else.
How can I tell Bitdefender to not delete the batch files, or anything from a created directory? Or where is it better then on the c:\ root to place a Batch Files directory? Or anything else I can do to get this to work.
I need this batch file to run automatically when I power down my computer as is directed to delete files and directories that are created by a program I use once in a while and no longer needed when I exit the program. I run the batch file via Task Manager (which works fine, unless Bitdefender has deleted the .BAT file again !).
