CVE-2016-3718.Gen.

I got several warnings about CVE-2016-3718.Gen. It appears to have something to do with infected .svg files. How does one submit a file for examination ?
The file itself passes a scan but after installation I got the warnings when trying to access some of the .svg files included in the installation.
Here is the link to the installer .exe if someone could pass this on to BD for examination. It scores 5/68 on Virus Total.

Hi Member,
Well there is an online submission forum for this, but since the file is detected after the installation, you need to provide more details on this which cannot be done through online forum.
So kindly share the sample with bitdefender support at bitsy@bitefender.com explaning as to how bitdefender is detecting the file after installation. They will then internally share the file with research department.

Why do I even bother.

This is really weird. I constantly try to send them email and they all go without any failure (from gmail only). You can try the online forum if the email does not works for you. Here is the link : https://www.bitdefender.com/support/contact-us.html

Unbelievable that I'm still dealing with this issue. "Support" personnel seem like they just started using computers yesterday. I send them screenshots and they send me a response on how to capture a screenshot.
I can reproduce the issue 100% when the proper steps are followed but getting "Support" to understand the steps is like talking to someone who has never used a computer before.
Very frustrating.
