Phishing attempt?

I'm not too familiar with it, which is why i'd like to ask here.

Out of nowhere I got sent to some random site which told me congratulations you've won a prize. I understand that this is nonsense and an attempt to scam me. However being on such a website, does that mean my system is infected? Bitdefender detected it as an unsafe website, but doesn't take any action.

Hi Member,

No, that does not mean your system is infected. It means you were trying to access a phishing/ malicious website which was successfully blocked by bitdefender & you are safe. FOr your self satisfaction, you can run a full scan with bitdefender for you you PC.
