Daily report that a threat file is deleted. Sometimes several times daily. The same file.
What's up with this?
The file is reported as:
Gen:Variant.Adware.MAC.AdLoad.1

The detection is basically an adware.
1) Do a full scan of your system with bitdefender.
2) Reset your browser's (whichever you use)

Thanks, Flex, for your attention with this, but I'm afraid ya' kinda' lost me. I'm not having a problem with my browsers.
What I'm wondering is why BitDefender keeps finding and deleting what appears to be a same file again and again.

One possibility is that If you have your browser set up to do syncing, then when BD deletes the malware-related extension from one device, it will simply be repopulated by that same browser. You would have to turn off syncing and then have BD, or you, delete the bad extension from all your devices. Here is a reference link to the issue as it relates to Chrome. Then you can turn syncing back on.
