Bitdefender app won't start up
Hey guys i have reinstalled the program like 5 to 6 times same result. I have two years service and the wife laptop reinstalled no issues. So when i click the app on the desktop nothing happens. I have the app on admin. When i look at the task bar i see the Bitdefender logo grayed out and its telling me to please log in active account. Does anyone know a fix for this ?
I have gone to the window service tab i followed these step on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHDQMCWDXfw
The reason why I listed this was due to the fact not sure if something i disabled maybe is causing a conflict with the app itself.
support has not really been much help. A level two tec is looking at the case, but everything is via email and its take a long time.

Does your subscription support dual-device protection?
I will try to offer two options for solving your problem.
1) Remove your device from Bitdefender Central account - hint: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/2795/
1.1) Then select the "protect this device" option again
2) Reinstall your antivirus.
2.1) Download the BitDefender antivirus uninstaller according to the version installed on your computer: https://www.bitdefender.com/site/view/uninstall_consumer_paid.html or use the utility to completely remove BitDefender products: http://www.bitdefender.com/files/KnowledgeBase/file/BitDefender_Uninstall_Tool.exe
2.2) Restart your computer in Safe Mode
2.3) Run the antivirus uninstaller or utility to completely remove BitDefender products. Wait for the uninstallation process to complete, then reboot the system.
2.4) Restart your computer again in Safe Mode
2.5) delete all folders named "Bitdefender" along this path -
C: \ Program Files (delete the folder that has the name bitdefender)
C: \ Program Files (x86) (delete the folder that has the name bitdefender)
C: \ ProgramData (delete the folder that has the name bitdefender)
C: \ Users \ {your computer name} \ AppData \ Local (delete the folder that contains the bitdefender name)
open the following commands in run mode (windows icon + R)
temp, delete all files in that folder
% temp%, delete all files in this folder
prefetch, delete all files in this folder
2.6) Restart your computer in normal mode, reinstall and activate the BitDefender antivirus program
good luck solving the problem
