Keeps requesting "Restart to Upgrade"

yesterday afternoon, Jan 18, Bitdefender installed an update which stated a system restart was required in order to take effect. After I restarted the system it still shows that a restart is required.

I've restarted 5 times and the message has never cleared.

I wanted to post the Bitdenfender version but I have not been able to locate that information. This is on a MacBook running MacOS 12.1

    Based on your description of the situation encountered, I would recommend contacting the Technical Support Teams, as more information might be required to troubleshoot this. Normally, whenever a recommendation is displayed in the dashboard and an action is taken, the recommendation should dissapear afterwards.

    But in the given scenario, the engineers may require some logs from you.

  • I get the same error! I have restarted today over 5 times, and the error doesn't seem to go away. Not sure if I am still protected from threats. It seems to be working more efficiently in Windows.

    Then, try to reinstall Bitdefender from your Central account:
