Why the the feature of trusted networks requires an active location access?

Why the new update of the bitdefender mobile security always adking for the location access for the trusted wifi / networks option, its pretty annoying and most importantly it takes a lot of battery to operate, thats not an ideal situation to deal with android systems where the optimisation of bitdefender app lock is Crap.
