I have purchased bitdefender mobile security today. Can i use the activation key 1 week later ?

You can use the activation key after 1 week but to be on safer side I am tagging bitdefender staff members who can provide you better information related to this.

Of course you can, BUT keeep this in mind:

"For online purchases made on Bitdefender websites, Your subscription begins when your purchase is completed and the payment has been received. You must download and install Bitdefender on your devices in order to get protection.

You agree and acknowledge that your subscription’s availability begins from your purchase date, which shall be the date taken into consideration for calculating the length of your subscription, regardless of the date you choose to activate such subscription.

For the purchases made from Bitdefender partners, Your subscription begins at first registration of your subscription. You must download and install Bitdefender on your devices in order to get protection."

Let's put it this way:

You made a purchase today 10.06.2022 on Bitdefender global site, with subscription period of 1 year. And you will use the activation key on 17.06.2022.

BUT, the subscription period of 1 year will start today 10.06.2022 (the day you made the purchase) and will end on 10.06.2023. The subscription period of 1 year will NOT start on 17.06.2022 (the day you will use the activation key) and will not end on 17.06.2023.

The validity countdown for subscriptions acquired via the online store www.bitdefender.com will start right after the purchase is finalized, regardless of the Central activation timestamp – excepting Bitdefender BOX and products that are purchased from our Trusted Partners. You can use the code later, but this means some validity will be lost.
