You can use the activation key after 1 week but to be on safer side I am tagging bitdefender staff members who can provide you better information related to this.

The validity countdown for subscriptions acquired via the online store www.bitdefender.com will start right after the purchase is finalized, regardless of the Central activation timestamp – excepting Bitdefender BOX and products that are purchased from our Trusted Partners. You can use the code later, but this means some validity will be lost.
