Bitdefender blocks Time Machine back up with MacOS Monterey

Since Bitdefender performed update recently I have been unable to use Time Machine to back up to Seagate external drive. This appears to have been going on for a while. Please tell me how to fix this or refund my money.

I have this problem and having Time machine complain about not being able to backup every hour is annoying as well as not letting it perform its function.

I turned off the Time Machine backup protection in BitDeffender and now Time Machine works. Time Machine has not worked for about 20 days and I didn't realize it until I just happen to check. Kind of lame.
