GravityZone; Excel Intermittent Freezing

I have a user telling me that since BitDefender Endpoint Security Tools was installed, he'll be working in Excel, and then intermittently it will freeze for 10-15 seconds, with the mouse cursor going around in a circle. He can't do anything in Excel while this is happening. He can switch to another application, but he can't do anything in Excel. After the 10-15 second freeze, Excel works like normal again. There can be periods of time where this doesn't happen at all, and other periods of time where it's happening every few minutes, and becomes quite frustrating. I have found virtually no information online or this forum about this problem. Is this something that we just have to put up with as part of having BitDefender? Is there some sort of exclusion that I can put in so Excel doesn't intermittently get bogged down with a scan of some sort? Is anyone else experiencing this same problem?

    I strongly suggest you contact the Enterprise Support Team as they will need to further troubleshoot existing exclusions as well as adding other exclusions, if needed.
