"Mac infected" messages and trying to sell every 15 minutes

To my knowledge this started sometime in the last week and only recently noticed these messages on the Mac OS 13.4.1. I've run the Bitdefender System scan and it did not stop this.

Messages appear every 15 minutes. How to get this to stop?

Hello.

I believe it is a pop-up "from McAfee", saying that your PC is at risk or hack detected on your PC.

At the moment appears to have resolved this problem.

First I did the Safari reset. Was able to do the steps until the Terminal steps and got an error so I skipped that.

I also did this as you had provided.
