Shuting Down Bitdefender to install DivX update

Bitdefender Tries to Clean the install and it DivX stops installing

Yes, DivX is safe to install on your PC or Mac.

The free version of DivX Software does include third-party offers that some anti-virus software may detect an issue in what is called "false positive". Please rest assured that there are never any viruses when you download DivX Software. The third-party software installer offers, that some user might find useful, help us continue to provide a free version of the DivX Software.

These offers can always be declined during the installation process. Additionally, we sell the Ad-Free Plug-in as well as DivX Pro, that will stop you from seeing any offers within the installer nor ads within the DivX Software components. You can find more information on our website DivX.com.

In most cases, making sure your anti-virus software is up-to-date will fix these false positives. Please try making sure you have the most updated version and definition for your anti-virus software when running the DivX Software installer.

As always, if you experience any issues or have additional questions, please feel free to contact our Support team.
