iOS features limited vs android

I installed the Android version of the bitdefender app and was impressed by the range of features and protection offered on the Samsung galaxy 21. As a result I bought a subscription to protect multiple devices. When I installed the app on an iphone 8, I was surprised to find only a fraction of the features. to clarify, on the second device, I signed in with my account I used to purchase the subscription, thinking this has activated the app with a full version. There's no reason to think otherwise as there are no offers to purchase subscriptions or notes of a demo trial anywhere.

What explains this difference in features: did I install it incorrectly, is it the IOS app, the age of the iPhone, or does Apple just have a far less robust version of the Android one?

I am considering a refund as it does not seem protection is as robust compared to Android.

Bitdefender for iOS only provides protection against malicious/phishing website with an addition of vpn due to apple restriction on its iOS. Those restriction on the other hand are not limited by google for android. Hence bitdefender android has more features as compared to bitdefender for iOS.
