Password-protected files require a password so that Bitdefender could scan them. If there is no password, Bitdefender or any other antimalware vendor will not be able to scan the files.

It's simple: if there is a zip file that is password-protected, you will not be able to extract that file onto your desktop or any other location until you have the password for the zip file. The same is the case here.

The largest collection of data leaks can be found on the stated website https://haveibeenpwned.com/ .The website boasts the largest collection of emails that were part of data breaches. If there is a data breach where your email was involved, the only option will be to change the password of your account associated with that company.

Operating system files are password protected, and no one knows the password for them, apart from Microsoft developers. However, it is not just that; there are some files in the operating system that are required for the proper functioning of Windows. They are password protected so that no malware can affect them, and as a result, no software can affect them either.
