Son's laptop locked not in Bedtime hours

Hi

I defined my son's laptop to be locked from 20PM-6AM.

It been in Sleep mode during night.

7AM the kids turns it on, and it's still locked!

Tried to override it manually using my smartphone, waiting for 2-3 minutes, and nothing..

Any help?

(At the end my son turned it off/on and it been released, but that isn't a solution! What if we had open applications or documents?)
