Android VPN notifications

I already have another (better) VPN that I'm using and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn off the incredibly annoying constant notifications to use Bitdefenders VPN on my Android. Does anybody know how to turn them off?

    That only applies to the Windows app. I'm talking about on Android. I just want to stop bitdefender from sending ads for their VPN through my notifications from a service that I am paying for.

    @Nunya are these promotional messages?

    Can you show us exactly how the notification looks like ? I'm asking this because there are several types of notifications, for critical events, warning events, information events, offers and we need to know exactly which ones you wish to disable.

    These are customizable but after disabling in-product notifications, Bitdefender will continue to keep you informed about special offers when you use a trial version, when your subscription is due to expire or when you use an expired product version.

    There is a toggle for notifications in settings and once that is turned off, you should no longer receive them for the VPN service.
