  • Hi @BDAG - you can configure a custom scan. Is that what are you trying to do?

    cheers,

  • i have a plan that covers 5 devices but when I try to install on a MAC- it won't let me. Doesn't the plan for "5 devices" incluide both PC & MAC?

    Hi @sansa, and welcome :)

    What version of Bitdefender did you purchase?

  • Bitdefender Anti Virus Plus for 5 devices

    @sansa

    Unfortunately, AV Plus is only for installation on Windows PCs. If you wanted to upgrade to Total Security to protect your MAC device, you could get ahold of Consumer Support from the link below (scroll down that web page). They are usually very accommodating when it's a newer purchase to work out an upgrade offer. I also included the link for the features of Total Security, just for your information.

    I hope this information was helpful.

  • Thank you so much for the information. I just couldn't figure out what was going on. I will reach out to them.

    Thanks again...........

    You're welcome, sansa. It was my pleasure working with you :)

  • Hi

    I am having trouble installing onto a Mac as the third device that is allowed with Internet Security package. It says that I can install on Mac but after installing it says must login and then only get a blank page for ages. Eventually it asks us to renew subscription but I have active subscription. Activate with code also fails.

    Hello,

    If you're trying to install Internet Security on a Mac, it is not compatible, you would need to have the Total Security version in order to install it on multiple platforms. Do you have Internet Security or Total Security?

    Kind regards,

    Scott
