I will prefer you to install the application apkpure which is an alternative to google play store. You can even download and update different applications on your device. It may sound weird but as per personal experience apkpure receives new version of different applications more often than google play store does.

Totally agree with you — APKPure and APKCombo are both solid alternatives when Google Play isn’t an option. I’ve also had good experiences with early updates from APKPure.
