Unable to connect to windscribe vpn

Hi,

I have installed windscribe VPN browser extension for chrome and im unable to connect through vpn due to firewall blocking it. Can anyone let me know how to bypass the firewall so i can use windscribe vpn.

  • Additionally, this means that you will have to allow chrome as trusted application in bitdefender firewall since you are using windscribe vpn as an extension in chrome, which also means that any connection that is going to take place via chrome will not be scanned by bitdefender firewall which may or may not lead to malicious activity depending on how you use the chrome browser for surfing.

  • I have added the rule for chrome but still I cant access the web when i enable vpn in chrome.

  • Check if below steps helps you in any way.

    1) Restart PC in safe mode: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-your-pc-in-safe-mode-in-windows-92c27cff-db89-8644-1ce4-b3e5e56fe234

    2) Open run command and run below command one by one:

    temp ,delete all the files in the folder

    %temp% ,delete all the files in folder

    prefetch ,delete all the files in folder

    3) Restart your PC in general mode by unticking the option that you selected to run the system in safe mode and then click apply.

    4) Open cmd as administrator and run the below stated commands one by one

    ipconfig/flushdns

    ipconfig /registerdns

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled

    netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

    netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

    netsh int tcp show global
