Chromecast Not Working With BD Total Security. Any Help?
I've just installed Bitdefender Total. Now my Chromecast will not cast. It worked prior to installing Bitdefender. It is not the Firewall that is blocking it as it still won't work when the firewall is turned off. Anyone know how I can get it to work again?

On my PC. I cast to my TV.
It stopped working when I changed my AV from Avast to Bitdefender.

Thanks for the replies. The problem has been resolved. It lay with the website I was trying to cast from and was not being blocked by Bitdefender.

And now that you've mentioned it, I have to remember to turn off BD VPN when I cast via Windows to my TV. Otherwise, it won't connect.

@Scott can you enable a hotspot on a mobile device and connect the Chromecast to this hotspot? Then, enable a VPN connection on the mobile and tell me if you are able to cast on the TV this way. It's just a test, so we can figure out what is preventing the connection.

Will do, I'll try it sometime tonight :) @Alexandru_BD ..but, in reading your post again, I don't have a Chromecast device, but a Roku stick. Did you still want me to try? My other post was regarding Windows using the Windows key + K to connect to my tv, which the VPN hindered.
