Orb Synth X
Orb SYnth X is a music synthesizer ive just purchased.
It is a packaged executable, and unpacks .vst files to the appropriate folder.
During this process a threat detection is stopping the install and on checking Bitdefender it is flagging as Gen:Variant.Tedy.321545
It is a relatively new file, so i believe this to be a false positive, as ive seen with Bitdefender before - but can you give more information?
I've run it through virustotal.com too and it has come out clean

Hello.
Only the malware researchers at Bitdefender Labs can help you with the issue.
You should report the file(s) and/or the URL(s) as false positive to Bitdefender Labs here:
You could also share the VirusTotal link of the file(s) and/or the URL(s) that was(were) detected to the malware researchers.

You can also share your query & the link where you uploaded the malware sample with bitdefender support team by dropping them an email at bitsy@bitdefender.com and asking them to share the same with malware research team.
The support team will reply back to your query within next 24-48 hours excluding weekends.
Additionally, can you share the virustotal link of the file here.
Regards
