Anyone having issues with HxOutlook.exe?
The page http://www.tyusnjscommunity.cam/d6d5Q23i95w7OaQ13O1ce52qG3aaaZ17DtDxfx4vrIvEiIE4g8jRpnQnSK5ur10N6pjHBLt/Wainwright-abstractly has been detected with suspicious activity. It is not recommended to continue browsing this website. Accessed by: HxOutlook.exe
I have done a full system scan and nothing emerged. I also tried Security Task Manager and it reported HxOutlook.exe was safe. Also Windows Task Manager says the file is disabled but I can't find any way of deleting it (appears to come with Windows mail).
I appreciate that this is not directly a Bitdefender problem (other that having to delete the 20 to 30 notifications one by one) but am wondering if anyone has come accross this issue and found a solution
Thanks,
Robin

Hi, Are you making any progress with this issue? I am still getting lots of notifications concerning HxOutlook.exe and still having to delete them one by one.
Thank you

Hello @robin@turner.me.uk,
Yes, progress is being made and the developers have submitted their findings to our Product Management for implementation. They should either modify the notifications to not steal focus while still being displayed, or add a toggle switch, so each user can choose how they prefer to have the notifications displayed. It is not clear at this point what option will be chosen.
There are indeed too many alerts displayed for not corresponding certificates, this being the main concern.
A fix will be deployed as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards.

MichalG:
From the response we have had I think that Bitdefender is only dealing with the repeated notifications that are generated, not the fact that HxOutlook.exe is generating a link to a suspicious site.
Alexandru_BD:
Am I correct in this, or will your update also deal with the HxOutlook.exe issue?
Regards,
Robin

I am getting multiples of
"Suspicious web page detected
The webpage ************(edited by admin) has been detected as suspicious. Although the page is not blocked, it is not recommended to continue browsing this page.
Accessed by: HxOutlook.exe"
Is this a real problem or related to the same issue as being addressed in this thread?? Need to know if there are actions I need to take.
