TrafficLight and Adblock Plus
Is Bitdefender TrafficLight compatible with Adblock Plus (https://adblockplus.org/en/)? Will the installation and use of Adblock Plus interfere in any way with the proper operation of Bitdefender TrafficLight? (Thank you)
P.S.: I am using TrafficLight (9.4.1) in Safari (17.3) on macOS (14.3).

Both are compatible with each other.
AdBlock Plus is an ad blocker whereas Bitdefender TrafficLight only blocks malicious and phishing website.

Concerning the compatibility of Adblock Plus with Bitdefender's browser extensions (TrafficLight, Anti-Tracker Engine, and Anti-Tracker Icon), a Bitdefender technical support engineer provided this helpful guidance: "Generally, Adblock Plus should not interfere with the operation of Bitdefender's browser extensions. Both Adblock Plus and Bitdefender extensions are designed to function alongside other extensions without causing disruptions."

That's true. I would recommend using uBlock Origin and Ghostery along with the Bitdefender extension. uBlock Origin is an effective ad blocker, and Ghostery enhances privacy. Both are lightweight and boast excellent detection capabilities. It's worth noting that AdBlock Plus tends to consume high resources.

@Flexx, thank you for your recommendations. My understanding, however, is that uBlock Origin does not support Safari, and Ghostery does not have a Safari extension available for iOS. In contrast, Adblock Plus is available as a browser extension for Safari on both macOS and iOS, providing a uniform solution across the two platforms.
