If you believe that a website or file has been incorrectly blocked by Bitdefender, you can share the details with our malware researchers by filling out the form at the link provided below:
If the website or file is indeed incorrectly blocked, the detection will be removed within a maximum of 72 hours. However, if the detection still persists after 72 hours, please consider the website or file as malicious, as determined by our malware researchers, and the detection will remain.
As I checked personally, Bitdefender is not detecting the SkyGo Windows app as malicious. Below is the VirusTotal link for the samehttps://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/8972308008ea3f67857021108292607c430ab7d5c571ab83561a70f5d87e6967?nocache=1

Thanks for your suggestion, however I have seen that in the last two days there have been several reports on the sky site https://helpforum.sky.com/ by users with the same problem as me.

Can you upload the file to VirusTotal and share the VirusTotal link here?

Sorry.. what do you mean with Virus Total?

Kindly upload the file detected by Bitdefender to virustotal.com and share the VirusTotal link here once the scanning of the file is complete with multiple antimalware vendors.

Hi @Gian Carlo
I have seen that in the last two days there have been several reports on the sky site https://helpforum.sky.com/ by users with the same problem as me. - By this you mean that the users are reporting the app is being flagged as malicious only by Bitdefender, or by other antivirus vendors as well? So that we can find out if the problem lies in Bitdefender's detection, or they did something to that app that resulted in multiple detections.

Hey, buddy.
It seems that the problem is ONLY with Bitdefender, as Bitdefender is the only vendor that detects the file as malicious:

At least we can identify the exact subdirectory file of the main file, and by uploading it to VirusTotal, we can obtain the hash of the file and have the detection removed.

There does not seem to be any detection of the file. Maybe it is an online installer, and when it downloads files from the internet, Bitdefender might detect some files. @Alexandru_BD, you will have to share the hash (MD5: 8869aee13f5049c8de5eca923c3c06b0) internally with any malware researcher and tell them to download the software via the online installer and check if Bitdefender is detecting any files while downloading or installing. This will be the only way out.
