Netgear Armor by Bitdefender vs. Bitdefender Premium Security

I have had Netgear Armor by Bitdefender since I bought my Orbi RB50, and now, when I thought I was renewing Armor, I seem to have also subscribed to Bitdefender Premium Security. Do I need both of these services? What, if anything, is the difference between them?

    Bitdefender Premium Security solution includes these programs/services:

    • Bitdefender Total Security (Bitdefender Total Security for Windows, Bitdefender Antivirus for macOS and Bitdefender Mobile Security for Android and iOS)

    To add here, the answer to your question is technically "no." Netgear Armor provides network-level security, while Bitdefender Premium Security focuses on individual device protection. However, having both offers a more layered security approach.

    • Netgear Armor: Protects your entire home network and any device connected to it.
    • Bitdefender Premium Security: Provides additional protection for individual devices when they're not on your home network (e.g., using public Wi-Fi).

    Additionally, Netgear Armor includes Bitdefender Total Security as part of its subscription.

    Thanks. Since Armor includes Bitdefender Total Security, then the principal differences seems to be 1) VPN data encryption without a cap (Bitdefender) vs. VPN with a data cap (Armor), and 2) Bitdefender Premium includes a password manager. I'll probably let one of them lapse when the time comes.
