Disable Pop up notifications
Aug 2024: Just installed Bitdefender. How do I turn off all, or any, Bitdefender pop up notifications? I have browsed the previous answers but my account does not have the options Gjoksi and others have mentioned in 'Settings'. If there is no way to turn these off via Bitdefender is there a work-around on Windows that would help?

The problem is that I don't have those options available in my Settings.

When checking the settings in online Bitdefender Central, you'll find that notification settings are not available there. These settings are only accessible within the Bitdefender product installed on your system. You need to follow @gjo steps to disable notifications within the installed Bitdefender product.
As you can see below, from my online Bitdefender Central, I also don't have the settings option because it isn’t available there. Notification tweaks are only found in the Bitdefender product that you have installed.

Ah thank you . . . I see them in my product now. I will try all those things previously recommended. Can you clarify how to get to @gjo steps?

I believe that notification setting in Central is regional, if I remember correctly @Alexandru_BD mentioning that in a post. Some will have that option and some won't. In the US, I don't have that Central notification option to disable.

This is the Central Notification I mentioned is maybe regional, just in case it comes up :)
1. On any internet-connected device launch a web browser, visit
https://central.bitdefender.com�and
sign in to your Bitdefender Central account.2. Click on your username in the top right corner and select "Bitdefender Account" in the menu. This option will launch in a new browser tab.
3. Access the "Data & Privacy" tab, then click on the "Privacy preferences" section.
4. Uncheck both boxes to stop promotional messages:
- Receive in product insights regarding threats, news, and offers.
- Receive insights regarding threats, news, and offers via email.

@Scott, thank you for finding and providing @Gjoksi steps for the Bitdefender notification tweaks. Regarding Bitdefender Central, I previously shared the Bitdefender link for disabling promotional emails, as quoted in the comment below:
However, it seems that I do not have the option for that in my Bitdefender Central online. Am I possibly looking in the wrong place? I only see the "Delete Account" option. 😂

I also don't have those two options:
- Receive in product insights regarding threats, news, and offers.
- Receive insights regarding threats, news, and offers via email.
I only have the "Delete account" option, same as you.
As @Scott already said, i believe that a few moths ago @Alexandru_BD said that not all users have those two options availabe in their Bitdefender Account.
