The bug is back: The app you just installed requires scanning before being used
On android I am multiple times a day getting the alert notification: "The app you just installed requires scanning before being used"
Except that I haven't installed any new apps.
This has happened before, see the posts from last year, and it's happening again. I can only assume that somewhere inside Bitdefender there's a develop team whose job is to reinsert this error on a regular basis.

I am also seeing the daily.
This seems to have started since the last Bit defender app update.
Reinstalling the App does not resolve it.

Some malicious apps have a tendency to go undetected and remain on the smartphone, hidden from the screen. Kindly install Revo Uninstaller Android app from
and check for any unknown apps that you are not aware of, and uninstall them.Additionally, you can install the VirusTotal Android app from https://play.google.com/store/search?q=virustotal&c=apps&hl=en_IN and run a scan to check if any apps are detected as malicious by the majority of other antimalware vendors, including Bitdefender. It may also help you identify any hidden apps that might be malicious and could have gone undetected by Bitdefender.

It would be helpful if Bitdefender identified which app (if any) is causing the alert.
Bitdefender's suggestion of the Revo Uninstaller revealed no recently downloaded apps, so I suspect the alert may be an error.

Both our phones are Pixels, different models, but both have the bug.
