Immunizer changed USB stick label to Floppy Disk Drive
I selected to immunize a USB stick when Bitdefender prompted on inserting the USB drive to my Windows 10 computer. Now, File Explorer labels the USB stick as a Floppy Disk Drive, and consequently does not display the storage space bar of the flash drive. How do I get back the normal label of USB drive for this USB stick? If it requires eliminating the immunization of the USB stick, that is okay with me.

I figured it out. Bitdefender installed some files, including Autorun files, in a folder named Autorin.inf on the USB stick to activate immunization. The folder was hidden as an operating systems category type. I changed the option in File Explorer to display hidden OS files to find these files. Next, I deleted the files, restarted my PC, and plugged the USB stick back in. Now, File Explorer shows the USB stick as a regular USB storage device.

Hello @ubose
A topic like this doesn't come up to often so I'm not sure of what can be done, other than read through the below thread for any insights (I've never been a fan Immunization, but only of "Ask every time").
edit: the only thing I can think of as was alluded to in that thread by the OP, is on another PC, transfer the USB contents to another USB, or that C: drive, re-format it, replace the folders etc to that USB drive and not allow it to be Immunized on the PC with Bitdefender installed.
Kind regards.
