-
mines is working fine just now, hopefully they've fixed this issue
-
is it a 64 bit problem, or has anybody got this problem with 32 bit windows 7?
-
theres a good few, including myself that has this problem, as you say, it's just happened after this big update
-
i got the standard reply from BD support, uninstall with thier tool to delete previous install files, download it again and reinstall. only thing is...... brand new hard drive, clean install of windows & pro x64, all installed on friday. all working fine untill this big update. BD, sort it out
-
same here, thats why on my vista machine i reverted back to v 2008, that had no problems at all
-
i'm getting this win 7 pro 64bit
-
thanks Alex, i found my saved setup file, so i did a repair with that, it's back working again thanks
-
when you renew, your key will work with the newest versions
-
Thanks Hemanth & Diana, i thought it would be the case, i just wanted to make sure first.
-
with those who have the files in quarantine, do we just restore them? (after we have updated bitdefender) (bitdefender 2008)
-
Maybe the free version of Bitdefender 11 will support x64 and when will this become available?
-
yes, your fine to use the 2008 key, but the key becomes active when it's first bought
-
Yes. End-of-life for previous versions are announced in due time. However, at anytime you want to go for the free upgrade, please let us know. i've tried 2009 on this vista machine and had more porblems with it than V2008, hence going back to this older but better working version
-
one of my copies of BD is alao doing this, it's on a vista PC, it say's it needs to update, but when i try to update it nothing happens
-
i'd then say uninstall BD and go for a free alternative
-
Florin, they probably do, but yesterday i had vsserv.exe message from above shut down for a few hours. now, this has only started with BD, it didn't happen a month ago, so it must be a bug of some sort in some of the updated files!. are any of the bitdefender employee's getting this message? i'm seriously thinking about…
-
happening again bitdefender, sort it out
-
i've also a Nvidia MB and also getting this message, i've posted about it, but no answer has come of it..............
-
thats for the reply, but how long do you think it should stay like that? as the last time was about 15-20 minutes
-
well, thats it switched off again for an update! surely an update doesn't take too long?
-
EDIT: it's back on as normal, but it's too long shut down trying to update!
-
i've found their support quite good
-
is this the same problem with Gmail? http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=10592
-
in the basic view it is still the same as the pic above, this is screenshot of the advanced view
-
everything looks enabled, as far as i know did you want me to untick all entrys, then tick them one at a time to see what is not enabled?
-
to a scan for 2pm, choose, advanced view > antivirus > virusscan > right click any of the scans you want, deep, full or quick > open > scheduler, then pick the options you want
-
can you try to use this tool to uninstall http://www.bitdefender.com/files/Knowledge...nstall_Tool.exe
