Using Bitdefender 2009 Instead Of 2008?

Hi,

In June 2008 I bought a 3 user licens for BitDefender Internet Security 2008.

The product itself I never installed and the licens also hasn't been activated yet.

Now I would like to install Bitdefender Internet Security 2009 in one of my computers, and using this 3-user licens for the 2008 version.

Will it be possible to activate the product without any problems?

Or do I first have to search for a 2008 version, install this version and then I can upgrade to 2009 version?

    Hi!

The license key for BitDefender doesn't become active when you first buy it, but when you first activate it on the first computer (in the case the license key is valid for multiple PCs).

You can use the 2008 serial code to register the correspondent BitDefender version 2009 without any issues, as the upgrade is free of charge  .

Depending on the exact name of the version it is valid for-in your case-BitDefender Internet Security 2008, you can select the correspondent 2009 download (BitDefender Internet Security 2009) from:
