Hi Mahesh, where is the screen shot?
-
There might be possibility that there are still other security software other than BD on your system. Have you also tried an uninstaller software in taking out BD as well?
-
Question: 1 - Why the firewall is defining new application rules? That's normal I think. Even windows firewall does that. I think BD just set that application on the exception list so that it doesn't have any restriction when launching.

Checking Revo or Iobit in a bit. Let's see how this goes.

Hi. You might want to try these steps and hope it works for you. Make sure by the way that the email address that you specified is not on the Spammers list too. 1. Open your mail client. 2. Go to the junk mail folder where spam messages are moved. 3. Select the legitimate message incorrectly marked as [spam] by…

I think that this has been an ongoing issue and developers are still trying to find a fix for this. Since vsserv is an exe file for real time protection, I could only assume that BD is taking up a lot of resources since there are active threats? That's only my conclusion though. Below are the suggestions, it would be nice…

I think the next concern here would be the scheduled updates. Sometimes, virus database could be a huge one at some point and I just wish that there will be an offline/other alternative to this too.
-
Here's a KB for Cryptolocker in specific too. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/cryptol...ntion-1204.html
-
How about if you select bot TCP and UDP? It might be possible that the connection will be using both connection.

Hi Johnny, in case you need a screen shot, check below. http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...rt=#entry211134

Does turning off Automatic game mode work as described below? http://www.bitdefender.com/support/what-to...abled-1088.html
-
Ho Slowdive, you might want to check the Windows optimize from BD below and see if it will work for you. http://www.bitdefender.com/tech-assist/sel...erformance.html
-
Hi. Check the BD link below too as it all has the tools for antivirus removal. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/removal...tware-1107.html
-
Anyways, i used the new uninstall tool and then ran the offline BD TS2015 installer an dall seems well. No BSOD at all.......thank god Hi SMS, have you tried that yet?
-
My hunch here if the reinstall and repair doesn't work is not you may have another security software running on your computer. Or might be not completely uninstalled. I think you need to double check that too.
-
I think, if I'm not mistaken, BD has payments sent to Avangate directly. You can probably contact Avangate and see if there's any way around for this.
-
I think "Prompt for Action" has already been suggested but so far, there are now updates yet. How about as a work around, you can set a scan exlusion for a specific folder if you're worried about it?
-
Here is also another option. Please see below for the steps. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/how-do-...count-1112.html

Hi. I think there's no option to whitelist a site. Can you also verify that the certificate on that site is no expired as well?
-
Hi. You might have IP Filtering enabled on some sites. Which sites are affected if I may ask? It would also help if you can review your rules currently set. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/i-canno...ternet-865.html
-
Hi. Perhaps you should double check the application rules. Check below for the guide. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/i-canno...ternet-865.html
-
That's good news. From what I know, most security software would require a fresh install to upgrade. Can I also please ask for a link where it shows a step by step guide onto doing this please?
-
Hi, it would also help if you can post the link where you downloaded the installer. Additionally, make sure that upon download, you disable any security software that you have running. Chances are, it might be blocking some important files to be downloaded onto your system.
-
This is actually doable already. You might need to do minor set up first. 1. Click the arrow in the lower-right corner of the screen. 2. Click Customize... to open the Notification Area Icons window. 3. Select the option Show icons and notifications for the Bitdefender Agent icon.

I think it's probably the connection for your BD software to the update server. I think it has a period of time to connect to the server. Maybe it went green because it can contact the server already.
-
It could be possible that you might have set a rule at the firewall to block http(port 80) traffic. Can you browse sites that are https? I'm not sure if it's an option for you but it could help if you post a screen shot of your firewall rules here. Just scratch out any IP Addresses.

Hi. What version of browser and flash are you currently using? Try to update both and try again. See if it works. Do you get an error message too when viewing flash sites like youtube?
-
While waiting for a fix, we can probably find a work around here. First, we need to know which BD module is causing this. Probably try to disable the modules one by one like real time protection, AVC and Firewall. Once we know which module it is, then we can figure out a way on how to add it up on the exception list.

- Does Bitdefender scan SSL email? Yes it does. It is under the Antiphishing Tab.
-
Yes, it does sell you a license but you can then input the activation code. Once it's in, BD server will then recognize that code to b good for 3 PCs.
