Happened to me again on a client machine. Win 10 Pro with new install of AV 2017. It makes us in the IT/computer business look bad when a product we recommend our clients has issue after issue!
-
So this on another clients machine over the weekend! Yes I could remove desktop from protected folders but that is a work around and not a fix.
-
Had this issue with a clients machine with Windows 7 and Total security. For now we turned the firewall off. There has been issue after issue with 2017! So much that I can't in my right mind recommend or sell it anymore.
-
Updated 2 machines from 2016 to 2017 and the issue does not happen. Still happens on the fresh install of windows 10. I even reinstalled everything and it still happens. For now I had to leave boot time protection disabled (not happy about that).
-
Still happening! Fresh install of windows 10 pro with total security 2017. I found if I go in task manager and restart explorer they come back.

I opened a support ticket today. Lets hope they get this solved. I've used BD for years but have had too many issues the last few months!!

you can also go to "view modules" from protection mode then select the settings gear beside antivirus and turn off on access scanning and active threat control.

I can confirm that disabling scan ssl works for my clients on aoins.com
-
Thanks. I just noticed that the code posted above is the same as my clients (HTTP/1.1 302 Found). The site they are trying to access is https://www.aoins.com I have advised them to disable ssl scan for now. I have not heard back if it worked or not. For me the code is ( HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily).

very similar issue to what I just posted about /index.php?/topic/74207-ts-is-2017-blocking-loginposting-ability-on-certain-sites/&do=embed">

What ended up working for me was using revo uninstaller to remove every last trace of files/folders and registry entries. Even then there were a few hidden files relating to bitdefender at the root of C I had to delete. Ran ccleaner again just for good measure (cleaner and registry). fwi used the advanced scan option in…

Having to do this remotely today. I used the removal tool to uninstall. deleted any leftover folders (bd and others), ran ccleaner. reinstalled and internet now seems to be ok. still having issues as active threat control will not turn on! Autopilot is off and every other setting will turn on/off as expected. Ran a repair…

I experienced similar issues at a clients today. I "upgraded" them to TS 2017. I used the removal tool to uninstall the old version. There are 4 machines total and 2 work just fine. The other 2 experience general system slowness and slow to no internet. Everything looks fine in task manager. Using ie or chrome basic sites…

Having the same issue (and more). I helped a friend/client do a clean install of Windows 7. I tried to install the trial of IS 2017 then he was going to purchase and activate. I got the install file from here: http://www.bitdefender.com/Downloads/ I installed and it was TS instead of IS. Thinking perhaps I used the wrong…

Exact opposite issue here! Nothing is blocked! A computer set up for a 10 year old and I can access any pr0n site I want.
-
Trying to set it up for a client and it's useless! All major pr0n sites work even if I blacklist them. Very disappointed.
-
That option is not there on Internet Security 2016. You can however go into firewall settings and add the exe's to the "rules".

SOLVED Bitdefender bsod bad_pool_caller solution Step 1. Open *Bitdefender* Step 2. Click on "Modules" near the bottom of the window so that you see a white screen Step 3. You should see a Protection tab with white background Step 4. click on the "Trusted applications" line in black, on the left side Step 5. You should see…

I would love to see this as well. About to have to uninstall for troubleshooting purposes and hate to have to reconfigure if I reinstall.

Getting worse here! If I simply type "pa" into chrome search safepay thinks I'm typing paypal and the popup appears. I have verified that chrome is not auto filling paypal but yet safepay thinks so. For example I just searched for parted magic and the pop up came up thinking it was paypal. Work around does not work for me.

Same issue here on IS 2016.

Same thing here on IS 2016. Very annoying!! For me it only seems to happen on certain sites. It seems to remember on wells fargo but on paypal I get multiple popups just like the post above.
