  • From this morning I keep getting the message of critical error of security service. It appeared suddently in both my Windows XP pc and now I can't use it. I think it's probably an update error but I don't know what I should do. I had the same thing happen to me immediately after a manual update of BIS 2015 early Saturday…
  • Isn't it possible to display the original issuer and parenthesize something like "scanned by Bitdefender"? In order to do an SSL scan BD has to act as a "man-in-the-middle" which entails using it's own certificate. AFAIK that's the same technique used by other AVs to scan SSL connections. Displaying the cert details is a…
  • isn't there something like cloudcar.exe? The AV tests at amtso.org for Cloud Lookups uses CloudCar, but note that in the list of vendors which support this feature, Bitdefender is not listed. In my testing using BDIS 2015 it did not block or flag the file.
  • I have a problem. I bought Internet Security 2016 recently from the shops (I buy every year) - an actual physical copy. Before I installed it, I uninstalled 2015 as one does. Everything went smoothly until I had to use my licence key to activate it and all I got was invalid key. I have tried everything - used CAPS etc, but…
  • I need a link to the offline file for Bitdefender Antivirus 2016 64bit At this link: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=59500 it says: "IMPORTANT: there will be no offline kits for Bitdefender 2016"
  • What's new in this new build? Chistian has now updated the "Bitdefender 2015 - Product Updates" thread to describe the changes in build 1604: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry232459
  • I am planning to purchase Bitdefender for a number of computers at my home. I have both Windows 7, 8.1 and Mac OS X machines. I was planning to purchase the Family Pack or the Mac & PC pack, but I cannot find any information about if those packages contains the Windows 8 services or not? Since Win 8 and Win 8.1 are listed…
  • I can not change the priority, bitdefender does not allow access. Have you tried creating a Custom Scan? Using "Manage Scans" you can create s Custom Scan to scan whatever you want, and using the "Scan Options" under "Advanced" check the box for "Run the task with low priority".
