Hiya, If you highlight one of the events you can view the log for it. Ro. Thanks! But there's no way to check the log from the WEB protection events and scanning with AV doesn't let me check the infections in the "threats were found" window in more detail either. How do i enable it?

This has been an issue in the past. Just download and install Ccleaner and let it clean the temp folder. Also make sure that your version is updated. They haven't been able to fixed this in several years time. I've changing AV instead to Kaspersky. Bye!

OK luckily i found this thread. I have the same problem with Internet Security 2014. Seems Bitdefender haven't fixed this problem in about two years time. Really i am beginning to question those reviewers that give out all those awards to Bitdefender when it's such a buggy program. My SSD has been eaten up thanks to…

I am running in user mode and have choosed to use the the inbuilt windows firewall instead of bd's firewall so i have disabled it. Despite that it turns itself on everytime i reboot the computer for the last couple of weeks. It never done so before. really any help is appreciated!

So, it's pretty simple, but no one has been able to explain. You must access Bitdefender as Administrator. Worked for me. Doesn't work for me. I can't seem to get neither Wallet nor Password Manager to be turned off even though i've disabled them using the off/on switch to the off state. The processes for both still runs…

It might not happen on all systems or installations. I'm not having this problem, so it very well could be system or installation specific. This is the Bitdefender 2013 forum, so I'm assuming you might just have Bitdefender 2013. With that being said, have you tried upgrading to the new Bitdefender (simply called…

If you have wallet turned off, use ccleaner or similar to disable the windows startup entry for this process as a temporary fix. Why does it start automatically when Windows starts despite i've turned Wallet off?

I agree if you choose to turn it off schedule a manual scan once a week for sure. That's why i want it turned off. I don't wan't it running in the background becuase i have other serious critical processes that's need all the resources they need. I always run my scans manually. Anyway i want to turn the firewall completely…

From the GUI, bottom of the window under Antivirus. Thanks!

I am using Bitdefender Total Security 2014 and I have the same problem. I disable the firewall (I want to use the Windows 8.1 built-in firewall instead) and it switches automatically to user mode. But then I reboot the computer and Bitdefender has turned its firewall back on. So your statement that the new Bitdefender…

Hello A product update was released. Your build should be 16.23.0.1637(please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number). In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events…

I have exactly the same problem but with 2013. First I had to manually look up the uninstall file in the home folder and run the uninstaller but it won't delete the registry entries for some reason and therefore it won't delete the bitdefender directory. Trying to install 2013 over again doesn't work since it says it can't…

Can't get it to work. Same as with the user Marko a few posts up. I am going to use my "money back guarantee" as the Bitdefender team can't seem to work this thing out since the thread started. Seems their products won't work fully functional when you buy them. And that best "AV" for 2012 doesn't make any difference.…

Hello You can not turn off that service because is protected. If you want to turn off the module, set Auto Sync to off in the main interface, under the Safebox module. In these days, 1 MB of RAM for a service is not that much. Take care. It takes at avarage of 25 mb of memory (private working set) from my system. I too…
