Why does GravityZone MTD not mark devices as inactive when the app is not running?

Question

We are currently rolling out GravityZone MTD to 300 mobile devices. We are trying to ensure that users keep the application running in the background.

Despite configuring the Device Inactivity Configuration Policy to mark devices as inactive after 30 minutes and send notifications, the devices remain in an active state even when the application is no longer running.

In the affected Local Groups, we have enabled the 'User Alert' checkbox for the 'Inactive App' threat within the policies, but no popup notifications are received on Android devices.

What setting we are missing?
