Bitdefender 2009 Av Free Edition - License Expired

My BD 2009 AV Free Edition License has expired.

BUT

When I log-in into my BD account, it shows 159 days remaining.

What needs to be done to continue using BD 2009 AV Free Edition

as no other free version is available after 2009.

Help Appreciated ...

Thanks

  • Hello MurAtt,

    Did you try to check your Windows time settings, then right click on the BitDefender icon from the system tray and select Update Now?

    Due to the fact that the license key is built-in, you can also try reinstalling. Use the uninstall tool to remove the current version and then reinstall BitDefender Free from here

    Please let me know if issue persists.

  • Hi there,

    I'm also having the same problems as MurAtt, even after the instructions that George R posted on this thread. If anyone can assist me with this problem I would be very grateful.

    Many thanks,

    I don't want to open a new thread;

    my BitDefender2009Free has expired today, and I found two license codes in this forum that should apparently work, but they don't.

    I reinstalled it several times (it was a PITA, since the Uninstaller didn't uninstall everything..).

    It won't update, there's an error. (could not connect)

    Any help how I can use my trusty Bd2009Free again?
