Is There A Live Chat? Or Is This The Help Circuit?
I have scanned my PC 5 times now and deleted a backdoor.agent.hcl the first time. Then all of a sudden after the reboot I pereformed aother scan and I found Adware.Softomate.CU 2 issues and Adware.VDM 1 issues. I click on delete then continue and It continues to scan and then no possible action comes up with the viruses still there.
I have not yet purchased bitdefender I am a McAfee user since 1992 but I am looking for a little for speed. sometimes, rarely but sometimes I need help like 2 times since 1992 make this the third. I need to know if bitdefender has a support system that can help like live chat

So I'm going to reply briefly, yes there is a live support called "live assistance" and this is the link " />
http://www.bitdefender.com/site/Main/Live-Assistance.html
and of course there's also support via email and phone call.

Hello itldu4r
What RooNiLsaid is right.
You have to temporary disable realtime protection otherwise BitDefender will not allow to empty your system restore points. Rightclick on the red BitDefender icon near the system clock choose settings, antivirus, shield uncheck realtime protection for the newest 2008 productline. For the earlier versions of BitDefender you can choose for antivirus, click on enable realtime-protection. If you have done that go to start, right click on my computer, choose properties, press on the system restore tab, check the option disable system restore on all stations and press on apply to confirm everything will grey out. When that occurs uncheck disable system restore on all stations and press on apply again. You will loose all your system restore points.
Now re-enable realtime protection by leftclick on realtime protection or in the newest version of BitDefender going to settings, antivirus, and check realtime protection again. Or if the infection is found in an installer you have to delete the archive of installer manually.
Best regards
