for some strange reason which l attribute to the firewall lm getting random net issues which completely block the net.. lve went into game mode on the firewall but it only helps a little and l see an amazing amount of dropped packets in 5mins


nothing has changed apart from one windows update, but it happened a couple of times earlier in the night, my laptop however hasnt any problems access the net to browse (l will note lm on win7 pro, issue occurred with both Firefox and IE)


l note that this page crashed twice and lve had to write this a couple of times due to it.. and will likely have to wait a few mins if not more to just post this message.

    found out the issue, tho l wish it was mentioned in the FAQ somewhere..


    turns out it was the firewall.. which l already knew, only by disabling it at my mates on the laptop could l get it working however, further information found elsewhere on the net lead me to find out it was the Network configuration on DB and turning off stealth.. after that everything worked ok.
