Too Bad This Product Have Been A Contender

Well I purchased TS 2012 yesterday and after noticing my internet crawling along I decided to see if there was a "known" problem and it seems there is. The really sad part of this saga is I read nothing but great reviews on this product that even put it before the big KIS 2012 well they need to re-think that. I just submitted a ticket for a refund, I see no use in keeping a 80 dollar product that you can't even use.

I know some will say it's this or that, go check this setting, make sure you don't have this box checked, go edit your register file, go unplug your system, tap the f11 key six times while moving the mouse in a vertical motion.....etc etc......but really should you buy a product that you can't just install without having a BS in Computer Science?

But in the end you'll still be stuck crawling along the web like a bar patron on a Friday night with a few too many. I even went as far to do a clean install of Win 7 just to be sure it wasn't something on my system causing it but alas it's still (well was, this crap is gone) creeping along.

So I wish you people well and maybe at some point they will get a patch put together that will work but I'd rather have more confidence in a product that I use to handle 1000's of transaction on a daily bases on the internet.

It could have been a contender.......

I thought bitdefender would be a good alternative to KIS, but so far based on installing bitdefender on 4 of my computers it is a real dog. Almost makes these computers unusable. I have requested information on getting a refund for the two licenses I purchased.

I've just posted a topic along the same lines as this. I've looked at a number of the forum articles and it would seem I'm not alone in the experience. I am a computer professional and this S/W gives me no confidence that it does the job it claims to do and I am not prepared to jump through hoops fixing bugs that should never have made the final product. I have very little hope of getting a refund but I'm quite prepared to take the loss to get security S/W that I have confidence with. I'm very sorry but Bitdefender does not give me any confidence at all.
