How To Add More General Rules In Fw?

Im using Bitdefender IS 2012 for more than a month now and i can see that there's no way to add more rules under General Rules window in firewall options.


is there any way/trick around it to add more general/system-wide rules to the firewall? lets say if i wanna block a port entirely.

    In order to add a new rule in our firewall, please follow the steps from our user guide, page 108, chapter 9.6.

    You can not block a certain port, you have to create a rule for the application.

    ok so basically i can not edit or add new rules (i dont mean allow/deny option) and just application rules. well that ###### but i guess have to live with it.

    Now, the link has been corrected.


    You can edit the existing rules and create new ones by following those steps. I will talk to our developers to see if they can implement some advanced settings under general rules for users that need to heavily configure the firewall.
