Settings Password

Though I can't say for sure, it seems bitdefender 2012 has lost my password for changing settings. Of course, it could be me being forgetful but I only use a limited set of passwords for certain functions and none were recognized. Yesterday I was able to get in fine.

Please tell me how to reset and/or turn off the function requiring entry of a password to change settings.
