  • Hi sando7,

First of all, a big WELCOME to the BitDefender forum. We hope you enjoy it here and that you'll find answers to any BitDefender questions (or data security, in general). :)

What do you mean BD version 8? That's a very old version. The latest version is BD v11 (also called 2008...maybe you confused the numbers??)

Or are you using an Enterprise version? (as far as I know, that has BD 8 Client, but I'm not sure... I've never used BD Enterprise and I don't know how are the version number in it)

i'm having a little trouble trying to edit a post, sorry.....i'll leave it alone

  • Hi sando7,

There's a time limit in which you can edit your post (I'm not sure what's the exact limit). If you can't edit your post, it means that the time limit has passed and you have to post again (another post).

Be careful because using multiple anti-malware solutions in the same time may result in conflicts and errors. If you encounter any errors, please remove other anti-malware software (decide which one you want to use and keep only one).

    Cris.

  • sounds like some good advise, thanks...........sando7

  • You're welcome, sando7. If you have other questions, don't hesitate to post :)

  • Hello sando7

There is a 60 seconds time limit. Before you can reply again or place a new topic. That is for preventing spamming on the forums. So spambots can't make many topics in a short time.

To avoid conflicts you may only run one other antimalware product in realtime mode.

    Best regards

    Hello sando7

Glad that I could help you. You may install as much ad/spyware removals tools as you want. But the chance of conflicts and slowndown of your computer is very high.

    Best regards
