Greetings software guys and you devs,


When hitting the 'Update' button on the BitDefender Total Security 2012's dashboard it says 'Checking' and then comes up with a message in the events section saying: 'You have to configure your account to benefit on updates!', so what is for fix that one?

    After installing Bitdefender, did you receive an email entitled 'Complete your Bitdefender installation'? There is a link in the email which sets up your 'My Bitdefender' account. Apparently,if you do not set up this account, you will no longer receive updates after 30 days. Not sure if this applies to your situation or not.
