Yeah, TrustPort is a nice one, I used to work with them, and Vipre engine is not available for US customers, and hey,
this is BitDefender forum isn't it? It is not a place for advising another product.

i'm basically advertising bitdefender because they get money for people to use their engine

Or, use this solution for now. Depending on how and where you surf, this should protect you just fine until tomorrow: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=156388 http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=36824
We're kind of stepping on forum rules here (see below), even though the Bitdefender engine name has been mentioned in posts. I know it has been a little discouraging this weekend, but hang in there, the best is yet to come
The following will NOT be tolerated:
1. Any type of explicit reference to the brand name and symbols of other security solutions available on the international market today, except BitDefender. This is a support forum dedicated only to BitDefender and advertising competitor products will lead to editing out the advertisement and a 20% increase in the warn level.0 -

The reason I don't use KIS because they have acquisitions that they work for the Russian Government. Which is why U.S. Government does no business with Kaspersky whatsoever. So I choose Bitdefender since their Headquarters are in Romania and that's apart of NATO. lol

From another point of view, i have tested in the past KIS to see how is working, and i found that put a high loading to my computer. My computer became very slowly. With BDIS, i don't have such a huge slowing. It's more optimized comparative to KIS for using resources. And have THE BEST protection rate in the industry.

If given a choice, I would rather work with and support a smaller (please take no offense to that BD) more focused company like Bitdefender, who really has some things down. The other company that has been mentioned here, last I read, was building an indoor firing range for its employees to use (hobby, distraction?). In my opinion, Bitdefender has not lost its focus in that sense, so big, that it is now just another gorilla on the block.
A couple of photos of our friends at Bitdefender, just for perspective.0 -

lol, Here and there your posts have some really good lines of humor in them. Thanks for your laughs every now and then, AstroMax, giving us a little levity on this forum

The first pics clearly showing the person sitting in front of the PC..what he is doing....casual sitting style....reading outlook mails....thats why they are not responding to our problems in time and what else I can say in good words " />0 -
