I can't find this option has it been removed in 2013? I know I had it disabled in 2012. If the option has been removed is it still using p2p for updates or direct from the server ?

That option was removed because right now we have new update servers, a lot of new mirrors and the direct download process is a lot faster than P2P technology.

Please can you specify the list of update servers and mirrors? Checking network activity related to "continuous" update process i noted suspected connection of downloader.exe process with the folowing URLs:
cust199-15.netcabo.co.mz
50.97.42.210-static.reverse.softlayer.com
First one appears suspected, it corresponds to a web streeming site in Mozambico!

The P2P option was removed from all versions of Bitdefender (2010 +) via a product update that was released two weeks ago.
I can not provide you the list of the mirrors and partners(this information is not public), but I can assure you that download.exe can only connect to a predefined list of servers, so there is no mistake there.
