Hi pcbb, and welcome
Did you can try adding VirtualBox to exclusions: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35502 I did not see your double post, which included more of your information here: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=165953

I bought recently the Bitdefender and unfortunately I am having problems. While it is installed I can not use VirtualBox. Returns the message that vt-x/AMD64 is being used by another program.
I use VirtualBox all the time, I haven't had to add any exclusions with BD2013. Do you have your BIOS enabled (on my Crosshair V with the FX-8350 I have to enable it ) and does your processor support vt-x/AMD64?0 -
Wow, what a beast of a MOBO and processor you have there, Will...very nice! (as well as your post suggestions )
