[escalated] Linksys Internet Camera

I am unable to view my linksys WVC200 camera through Internet Explorer since installing BDTS 2013. Is there some thing I need to unblock?

  • Anyone have any suggestions? This has to be an easy fix but I cant find it. Any other security suite doesn't block the streaming video.

  • Interesting. Try to check first if its a BD issue. Try to shut the BD down and see if it makes a difference. smile2.png

  • Yes it is a BD issue. Tech support has remotely connected and they are currently working on the issue.

    Yes, I have that latest build and there is still an issue. They took some logs and are looking into the issue.

    Hello,


    A product update was recently released. Your build should be 16.27.0.1763 (please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).


    In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).

    I see that my colleagues already informed you about re-opening the case with the Testing team. Please wait for their response via your ticket ID 201212171002454 .


    In the meantime, make sure to keep renamed or deleted the file "bdtl.dll" from C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender 2013 . This procedure was e-mailed to you on 12/17/2012. If you don't have that e-mail anymore please let me know and I will send it back to you.
