No Automatic Scans In Several Days. Normal?

I downloaded BDF on 3 PCs for evaluation (Win XP, Vista, and 7). While it seams to work fine on the Vista and Win 7, there is a problem with XP. It did a few automatic scans on the day it was installed and day later, but no other scans are showing up in the events. Both VirusShield and AutoScan are enabled. The updates are going through. I did some manual scans by right clicking a file or directrory and it worked fine. The last automatic (complete) scan was on 1/18/13.


Is this normal? The other PCs show daily autoscans.

    No, this behaviour is not normal, quick scan is set to run once a day, and full scan, once a week (for the moment).


    To investigate further, we need a file from the BD AVFree installation folder, named gzserv.log

    It seems that your machine was in the same session(no reboot) for several days. AutoScan runs automatically based on a few parameters, reboot is one of them. After rebooting the machine quick scan should start after 1 hour.
